Notes of a shopaholic

And one more piece of stressful-final-week shopping--a pair of gray Kenneth Cole stretch pants for 15.00, picked up as I was returning some Kenneth Cole pants from last month.

Add a navy mock-neck canvas jacket. The old can't-resist-something-marked-down-from-$168-to-$20.

Millard Drexler's big plan for J Crew is to go more upscale and older. Hmmm. Anyway, the plan is to clear out all this season's merchandise, and you know what that means. Think I'll pick up the batik pants for 14.95.

Monday, May 05, 2003:
Oh, I'm so tired this week. The endless march of grading at the end of the semester. The many mysteries of student minds (why do they hand in assignments for other classes as extra credit? Who do they think they are fooling? But I digress)... Still had some time for shopping. I guess we can consider this 'stress-relief' shopping. I snagged a lemon yellow polo at Banana Republic that came to just $5 with my $15 'reward' card. I also found a pair of Kenneth Cole pants with a kind of interesting seam down the center of the leg on sale for $50. Not so cheap. I've been buying too much lately. Maybe I'll return both pairs of Ted Baker pants--the jeans haven't made it out of my closet yet.
