Notes of a shopaholic
Thursday, February 20, 2003:
You know the saying 'God never shuts a window without opening a door'? No sooner had the stretch Theory jeans disappeared from Bluefly than I discovered a pair of stretch Jeans from Buffalo at Marshalls for 25$.
Meanwhile, I am anxiously watching a shirt I've bid on on Ebay. Annoyingly enough, the auction ends at a time I will probably be otherwise occupied. With Ebay, its important to be at your computer as the auction winds down, lest snipers slip in a bid just above yours.

One thing about online shopping--you have to be fast, and not hesitate. Only a few hours passed between getting an e-mail from Bluefly with a special offer to take $25 off three items in their end-of-season sale and making a plan to share this offer with a friend (I would get two items, she would get one, we'd share the discount). Too late! The theory stretch jeans I wanted and the stuff she had picked out were already gone.

Uh-Oh. Is Hugo Boss trying to say that the juicy-couture, upscale-sweatsuit look is a good idea for men?

Sometimes I just don't understand people. Most things sold on Ebay--even new Prada shirts--you're lucky if you get %30 of retail. So why exactly are people paying these kinds of prices for Diesel luxury of dirt t-shirts?
Today school was closed due to weather. As I was stuck inside during the storm, I just had to get out, and where better to go than the mall? It actually seemed like a lot of people had the same idea. Snagged a Kenneth Cole optical design stretch polyester shirt for $25.
